§ Mr. HagueThe medium of instruction in A-level courses in Wales is, as in other courses, a matter for individual schools. There were 1,300 entries for Welsh Joint Education Committee examinations at A-level through the medium of Welsh in 25 subjects in 1995, compared with 903 entries in 24 subjects in 1990.
