§ Mr. David DavisCyprus was discussed at an informal meeting of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council on 17 April. They reaffirmed that the status quo was unacceptable and stressed the need for a comprehensive approach leading to a settlement within the framework of the UN Secretary-General's mission of good offices.
