To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many staff have left the employment of Group 4 at Buckley Hall since the prison opened. [30677]

Responsibility for this matter has been delegated to the Director General of the Prison Service, who has been asked to arrange for a reply to be given.

Letter from A. J. Pearson to Ms Liz Lynne, dated 5 June 1996: The Home Secretary has asked me, in the absence of the Director General from the office, to reply to your recent Question about the numbers of staff who have left the employment of Group 4 at Buckley Hall prison since it opened. Since the prison opened there have been twenty eight resignations and two redundancies.
