Lord James-Douglas HamiltonThe Secretary of State for Scotland is responsible for signing on the motorway and trunk road network in Scotland which includes the border routes of A7, A68, Al and A74(M). There are currently signs on all these routes to mark the border crossings. Discussions are in progress with the Scottish tourist board to upgrade the existing signs to complement the new tourist signposts which have recently been approved throughout the rest of the trunk road network.
