To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will list the requirements of the police driver training scheme. [38133]

It is for individual chief constables to determine the extent to which their officers are trained to drive particular vehicles. The recommended criteria for police driver training are set out in the 1989 Association of Chief Officers of Police police driving report and the 1995 pursuits and pursuit training report.
