To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) if he will list by health board the number of(a) doctors, (b) nurses, (c) midwives, (d) health visitors, (e) administration and clerical staff and (f) managers in (i) 1990, (ii) 1992, (iii) 1994 and (iv) 1995; [39198]

(2) if he will list the overall number of (a) administrative staff, (b) managerial staff, (c) nurses, (d) junior doctors and (e) other medical staff employed in each region for each of the last four years. [39199]
