§ Mr. DorrellI am aware of the concerns surrounding the provision of paediatric cardiac surgery at the United Bristol hospital trust. A number of steps have been taken at local level to address those concerns.
I understand that the General Medical Council is now considering whether to take formal proceedings in this case. In the light of its decision I shall consider whether any further action is justified.
