§ Mr. MaloneNo. The factors affecting help-seeking behaviour by survivors of trauma are many and varied. In each individual case, referral for specialist help is a matter for each patient and his or her general practitioner. Many non-national health service and other organisations provide valuable assistance in this area and complement that which is provided in the NHS.
