Lord Cocks of Hartcliffe

asked the Chairman of Committees:

Which Officers of the House will be included on the painting of the House in session; how they have been selected; and whether they will be expected to make a contribution towards the cost.

The Chairman of Committees (Lord Boston of Faversham)

The painting will include those staff who would be present in the Chamber when the House is in session, namely the Clerks at the Table, Black Rod and three Doorkeepers. They will not contribute towards the cost of the painting.

Whether members of the public will be painted in the galleries in the painting of the House in session, and if so, on what basis of selection and payment.
