HC Deb 23 July 1996 vol 282 cc158-9W
Mr. Mullin

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will call for a report from the Chief Constable of Gloucester on what disciplinary action has been taken against Detective Inspector Gladding following the comments in the Appeal Court in the case of R.v. Mills and Poole; and if he will make a statement. [38183]

Mr. Maclean

No disciplinary action has been taken. The Police Complaints Authority announced in March 1993, following a full investigation by the then assistant chief constable of Thames Valley, that there was no evidence to justify disciplinary proceedings against any officers in the case.
