§ Mr. FreemanI am responsible for the work of the central IT unit, the principal task of which is to advise Ministers on the development of an IT strategy for improving the internal efficiency of government and the delivery of public services. It is also responsible for advising Departments and agencies on the application of the private finance initiative to information systems and information systems and information technology projects.
