§ Mr. BurtFrom time to time, this Department deposits data from surveys it has commissioned in the Economic and Social Research Council data archive at the university of Essex. The archive is licensed to provide access to the data for the purposes of academic research. The administrative costs to the Department are small.
The Information Technology Services Agency of the DSS may license external suppliers who are providing various services to use certain departmental assets such as IT software. Details of the administrative costs involved could be obtained only at disproportionate cost.
