§ Mr. Gwilym JonesThe effect of the policy of non-co-operation was to delay some measures for a short period. None was lost and no lasting damage has been caused, while considerable advantage has been gained for Wales by progress on the beef issue which would not have been achieved otherwise.
The hon. Member may wish to note that the proposal for a programme promoting linguistic diversity was not blocked.
