§ Sir Nicholas BonsorThe UK dependent territories are bound to abide by only those international conventions that the UK, in consultation with the territories in question, has extended to them.
The Government bear international responsibility for ensuring that the dependent territories comply with the obligations of those international conventions which apply to them.
