§ Mr. KirkhopeIt was decided when refusing Mr. Das's applications for asylum and for student status in the United Kingdom that there were no grounds for allowing him to remain exceptionally. An appeal against the refusal of asylum was dismissed by the independent appellate authorities on 4 March.
