To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will publish the latest available information on the percentage of food health inspections carried out by each of the old district councils, indicating for each council(a) the number of inspections planned, (b) the number carried out, (c) the number of inspection staff employed and (d) the ratio of that number to (i) the population of the district and (ii) the number of food outlets requiring inspection. Information on the number of food health inspections planned and the number of inspection staff employed by the former district councils in Wales is not held centrally. The number of food outlets in each of the former districts, along with the number of inspections carried out during 1995 by each council, are detailed in the table:
