§ Mr. MacleanOn 18 June, we published a new victims charter. This tells victims of crime what happens after the offence has been reported and the standards of service they can expect to receive. The charter recognises the special position of families bereaved by homicide and victims of other serious offences by setting out, where appropriate, the additional support they can expect from the relevant criminal justice services.
