§ Mr. StreeterThe Law Commission has recommended in its report "Property Law: Liability for Chancel Repairs", Law Commission No. 152, that the liability of individual landowners for chancel repairs should be abolished, and the Government have decided that the Church authorities should be consulted further before a decision is taken as to whether this recommendation should be implemented.
