§ Mr. BowisNabilone, a synthetic cannabinoid, is already licensed for use in the treatment of certain conditions. Should any company wish to apply for a licence for medicines derived from cannabis, the Medicines Control Agency would consider this on the basis of the product's quality, safety and efficacy.
