To ask the Deputy Prime Minister what representations he has had from the United Kingdom defence industry concerning the proposed leasing of American F16 aircraft. [12127]

I have received a number of representations from the UK defence industry concerning the Ministry of Defence's evaluation of a proposal to upgrade the Tornado F3's weapons systems.

Those representations have been passed on to the Ministry of Defence in the normal way.
