§ Mr. NorrisFrom 1 July, all those who wish to drive large goods or passenger-carrying vehicles—whether for the first time or to continue doing so—will, when they apply for or to renew their licence, have to meet the minimum uncorrected vision standard in both eyes, rather than in one eye only as at present. We estimate that some 3,000 current licence holders will not meet this requirement.
