§ Mr. Gwilym JonesThe number of employees employed in tourism-related industries in Wales was 71,000 in September 1993 according to the 1993 census of employment. Employment data at this level of industrial activity are collected only in the census of employment and 1993 is the latest year for which data are available. Tourism-related industries are those classified as such in table 1.14, "Labour Market Trends", copies of which are available in the Library of the House.
