§ Mr. HoramThe Department, working with the National Meningitis Trust, has produced an information leaflet about meningitis for parents and for young people entering further education. Copies of the leaflet are available through general practitioners surgeries and have been distributed through the college bags which are given to all new students. It is most unlikely that children who are ill with meningitis would be sent to school.
