§ Mr. KynochThe following table gives a provisional count, by assessors, of the number of appeals lodged against the 1995 revaluation of rateable values of all non-domestic subjects throughout Scotland. The information was gathered as at 15 December 1995, the date by which such appeals must be lodged. No information is available on the number of appeals by type of subject.
It is too early in the process to gather meaningful information about the progress of appeals. Regular, quarterly, information on the number and progress of appeals will be gathered from the end of March 1996.
