§ Mr. KynochFollowing publication of the UK biodiversity action plan steering group report last December, my right hon. Friend is currently considering proposals to enhance the conservation of butterfly and moth species occurring in Scotland. Requirements for habitat creation and specific conservation areas will be taken forward in the context of the Government's commitment to the UN convention on biological diversity.
