Friend the Member for Hexham (Mr. Atkinson) on 9 January 1996, Official Report, columns 6–8, for lists 492W of the 211 sites in the United Kingdom which have been forwarded to the European Commission as candidate special areas of conservation. Maps of these areas were placed on deposit in the Library last March at the commencement of the public consultation on these areas.
