HC Deb 15 January 1996 vol 269 c398W
Mr. Wareing

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will introduce legislation to make it mandatory for bicycles to be fitted with a warning bell. [8567]

We have recently gone out to public consultation on proposals to update the Pedal Bicycles (Safety) Regulations with a view to incorporating into them the latest British Standard on the construction of pedal cycles.
