§ Mr. NewtonAt his request, I met my right hon. and noble Friend the Lord Wakeham, chairman of the Press Complaints Commission, on Monday 20 November 1995 to discuss progress on this matter. Lord Wakeham has recently written to me, as Chairman of the Committee of Privileges, reporting on the position.
