To ask the Secretary of State for Health what assessment he has made on the impact of other hospital care of the number of emergency medical admissions to London hospitals during the current winter; and if he will make a statement. [9165]

Health authorities and national health service trusts are responsible for ensuring that local healthcare needs are met.

To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many emergency medical admissions were made by each London NHS trust in each month during the period October 1994 to January 1996. [9200]
