Mr. Cox

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what discussions he has had with the Turkish Government on a framework for discussions to lead to a settlement of the division of Cyprus. [8549]

My right hon. Friend the Prime Minister discussed Cyprus with the Turkish Prime Minister, Mrs. Ciller, when she was in London on 22 November.

We discuss the Cyprus dispute regularly with the Greek Government.
