Mr. Dafis

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport (1) what figures for traffic induced by the Newbury bypass have been presented to the public in Newbury; and what opportunity there has been for the public to comment on the implications; [8063]

(2) what are the traffic figures for the inner relief road in Newbury with a western bypass under current road traffic forecasts for the years 2000, 2005, 2010 and 2015; [8064]

BR plans to dispose of about 10 other central services in due course. (e)Railtrack The Government intend to sell Railtrack by stock market flotation in May 1996.
