§ Sir Paul BeresfordThe information is not available for items(a) and (d) for 1991–92 or 1992–93. The costs for 1993–94 are £115,000 for (a) and £45,000 for (d) for 1994–95 the costs are £99,000 for (a) and £37,000 for (d). Estimated costs for 1995–96 are £140,000 for (a) and £45,000 for (d). All these costs include the costs of private secretaries travelling with Ministers.
The cost of chauffeur-driven cars provided for all department Ministers (item b) was £265,000 in 1991–92, £254,000 in 1992–93, £258,000 in 1993–94, £258,000 in 1994–95 and an estimated cost of £264,000 for 1995–96.
