HC Deb 09 January 1996 vol 269 c170W
Mr. David Nicholson

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security, pursuant to his letter to the hon. Member for Taunton of 13 December, POS(2)3446/179, what representations alleging that the introduction of disabled working allowance discriminates against self-employed people he has received; and if he will make a statement. [7172]

Mr. Andrew Mitchell

There have been no representations. Self-employed people constituted 20 per cent. of the disability working allowance case load at 31 July 1995.
