asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether it is intended that any international organisations will be involved in implementing President Clinton's recent undertaking given to the United States Congress to secure the arming of the Bosnians; and if so, who will bear the cost.

Baroness Chalker of Wallasey

We are not aware of any proposal that an international organisation should be involved in the arming and training of the Bosnians.

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether the Turkish Government has undertaken to assist in the arming of the Bosnians in accordance with President Clinton's undertaking given to the United States Congress; and if so, whether Turkey's undertaking has been agreed by NATO.
