§ Sir Paul BeresfordIn 1994–95, English Partnerships contributed finance under its investment fund of £12.369 million to local authority land reclamation schemes in the Greater Manchester area. In addition, it contributed £8.173 million of finance to regeneration projects carried out in partnership with private sector companies.
The Department's challenge fund and city challenger programme also contribute to schemes that include the reclamation of derelict land in Greater Manchester.
