To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment how many copies of "Jobs: How the UK Compares" were printed; how many were distributed and to whom; and what was(a) the cost of printing, (b) the cost of distribution and (c) the total cost. [16440]

Seven thousand five hundred copies of "Jobs: How the UK Compares" were printed.

So far, 3,000 copies have been distributed to the United Kingdom embassies of European Union countries, the European Commission, all Members of Parliament, all British Members of the European Parliament, training and enterprise councils; major British companies, and other Government Departments.

Production costs were £5,050 and distribution added around £500, giving a total of £5,550.
