There are currently five outstanding officer cases at Newcastle and at the present rate of such appeals the pensions appeal tribunals expect to arrange two sitting days at Newcastle in 1996.
Officer cases are also heard at the following venues in the north of England: Chester, Leeds, Manchester and Middlesbrough.
