§ Mr. Robin SquireWe have no plans to amend the provisions of the Education Act 1944 which define an independent school and the educational and other standards to be met for the purposes of registration. The registration under the Children Act 1989 of other independent nursery establishments is a matter for my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Health.
