To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security if he will list the types of disability for which information is available for the numbers of(a) applications for, and (b) awards of, disability living allowance. [13561]

The information is not available in the format requested. Information about a person's main disabling condition is recorded only where an award of disability living allowance is made. The table sets out the different types of disability and the numbers of first awards arising from initial, review or appeal decisions. Where there is more than one disabling condition, only the main condition is recorded.
