§ Mr. HanleyThe United Nations is seeking to bring about peace in the Western Sahara. The UN mission for the referendum in Western Sahara—MINURSO—is charged with the organisation of a referendum. The UK participates fully in Security Council discussions on the subject, and supports the representations made by the Secretary-General and his representatives to both Morocco and Polisario.
