This Department records, on a financial year basis, cases where we are notified, under the provisions of circular 8/87, that a local authority intends to grant consent for the total demolition of a listed building, together with the consents which the Department itself issues. The following figures show the numbers of principal and curtilage buildings affected by these consents.
