§ Mr. Sproat[holding answer 30 January 1996]The Department of National Heritage spent £20,033 on newspapers and magazines in 1993–94, and £34,806 in 1994–95. To date, the Department has spent £18,519 in 1995–96. The publications purchased for the Department in 1995–96 are:
