§ Mr. HoramMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State has asked the chief medical officer to undertake a review of the organisation and delivery of emergency care services outside hospital, to ensure that care delivered to patients is seamless across the primary, secondary and community care sectors. My hon. Friend the Minister for Health informed chairmen of national health service trusts and health authorities in a letter dated 10 January, copies of the subsequent guidance (EL96)3) issued to chief executives of NHS trusts and health authorities are available in the Library.
