§ Mr. HagueThe most recent guidance to health authorities in Wales on fluoridation is contained in the "Protocol for Investment in Health Gain" of November 1992. The protocol advises that health authorities should give high priority to water fluoridation. Welsh Office officials discuss fluoridation issues with health authorities from time to time. I have had no discussions with the chairman of Welsh Water on this issue.
