§ Mr. WattsCentral Railway plc has withdrawn all its waivers' applications. I understand that it intends to submit fresh applications in a modified form. As stated in my reply to the hon. Member for Eastleigh (Mr. Chidgey) on 31 January, copies of any future waiver requests in respect of the Central Railway project will be placed in the Library of the House. In deciding whether to grant any waivers, my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State will have regard to the effect on the quality and quantity of information which would be provided in support of Central Railway's application.
