Mr. Vaz

To ask the Secretary of State for National Heritage (1) what steps she has taken to ensure that submitted millennium projects which meet the Millennium Commission's published criteria are objectively assessed to determine their distinctiveness; and how she defines distinctive in relation to millennium projects; [7422]

(2) which of the criteria for the proposal stage of the Millennium Commission's round 3 the Dreaming 2000 project failed to meet; and what differences there were between the criteria for the application stage of round 2 and the proposal stage of round 3; [7708]

(3) how the Millennium Commission ensures that its criteria are applied consistently in decisions on bids; and if she will make a statement; [7710]

(4) if she will make a statement on the factors underlying the Millennium Commission chief executive's rejection of the Dreaming 2000 project; [7705]

(5) what assessment she has made of the advantage of millennium proposals which involve schools taking responsibility for conservation projects; and if she will make a statement. [7707]
