§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeNone of the items on the main agenda for the Ecofin Council of 2 December were put to the vote. No papers were tabled at the meeting, but as I noted in my answer of 4 December, several papers were discussed. A number of "A" points were also agreed at the meeting without, in line with normal practice, a formal vote on them being taken. Details of these points are given504W in the Council secretariat press release, document 12212/96, which will be placed in the House as soon as it is available. All the papers considered at Ecofin which were eligible for scrutiny have been deposited with the House.
