§ Lord HenleyTable 1 below lists the non-formula funding allocated by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) to each higher education institution to support the listed museums, galleries and collections for 1995-96 and 1996-97. Allocations for earth sciences collections are determined separately and are shown in Table 2. The allocations form part of the block grant paid by the council to higher education institutions.
