§ Mr. ArbuthnotMy Department advises the Department of Trade and Industry on various aspects of export licensing. These include the legitimate defence requirements of the recipient, the effect on regional stability and the risk of use against United Kingdom forces. These provisions apply to all export licence applications referred to the MOD.
