§ Miss WiddecombeNineteen prisoners convicted of terrorist-related offences in connection with the situation in Northern Ireland are currently held in prisons in England and Wales. A further nine prisoners have been temporarily transferred to prisons in Northern Ireland. Four prisoners are currently held in Scotland.
Since 9 February 1996, one prisoner has been temporarily transferred to a prison in Northern Ireland and five prisoners have been repatriated to prisons in the 146W Republic of Ireland from prisons in England and Wales. One prisoner has been temporarily transferred from Scotland to Northern Ireland.
